Inside the 6th Grade Experience

Our 6th Grade experience is designed to support students both academically and socially as they transition into middle school. Each day begins with breakfast and a check-in with peers and teachers before heading to Discovery, a unique class period that provides personalized academic or social-emotional support based on each student’s needs.

Students are placed into one of our three 6th Grade teams: the Eagles, Spartans, or Wolfpack. They rotate through four core classes: ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies, all taught in close proximity to provide a supportive, team-based environment. Instruction is hands-on, technology-integrated, and grounded in collaboration and real-world application.

After core classes, students head to lunch, often outdoors, and then finish the day with Electives. We invite families to view our Elective Offerings under "About Us".

Summer Bridge Program Updates

Unfortunately, we will not be offering our Summer Bridge program this summer. We encourage all rising 6th Grade families to join us for Open House on Wednesday, August 20th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. This will be a valuable opportunity for students and families to tour the school, meet teachers and staff, and learn more about daily routines and expectations.

Our Summer Bridge program is typically designed to support a smooth transition into middle school by helping students build connections, explore academic content, and gain familiarity with the school environment before the return of 7th and 8th graders. While the program will not run this summer, we are tentatively planning dates for Summer 2026 and will share those details as they become available.

We look forward to welcoming our new 6th Grade students in August!
