I’m Ms. Krystal Glover, the 7th Grade Assistant Principal at Brogden Middle School, and I am thrilled to serve as your 7th Grade Assistant Principal for the 2025–2026 school year! This marks my 15th year in education, a path inspired by my parents, who were both passionate educators.
I began my career as a fourth-grade teacher, where I quickly discovered my deep love for math and its power to unlock student confidence and critical thinking. That passion led to being recognized among the top 25% of math teachers in North Carolina. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including Teacher Leader, Eureka Math Coach, Reading and Math Interventionist, and most recently, as a District Learning Facilitator in Johnston County.
Throughout my journey, I’ve worked in Guilford, Durham, and Johnston counties, always with a focus on driving student achievement, supporting teacher growth, and building strong, inclusive school communities.
Outside of education, I’m a lifelong learner who loves exploring new cultures and perspectives. Traveling to different countries has not only enriched my worldview but has also deepened my appreciation for the diversity and potential in every student I serve.
I’m honored to return to Durham and become part of the Brogden family. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with our amazing staff, families, and community partners to ensure our students excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Let’s make this a year of growth, connection, and excellence!
