FOOD

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle's partnership with Brogden provides monthly fresh & shelf-stable food for our school pantry. Food is given away to families once per month (usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month) from 8:15am - 9:45am in the Brogden Auditorium. Emergency food can be given to families in need on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to Ms. Norris for more information.

SUN Bucks is a U.S. Department of Agriculture program that provides a one-time payment of $120 in grocery-buying benefits per eligible child on a debit-like card that can be used to buy nutritious food during the summer when schools are out  https://www.ncdhhs.gov/sunbucks

THERAPY

Each DPS school has a partnership with a community mental health agency that provides a therapist 1-2 days a week (Upward Change Health Services). If you are interested in your student receiving School Based Mental Health at Brogden, please contact School Social Worker, Rachael Norris 919-560-3906 ext. 86226
