We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Southern School of Energy and Sustainability!

Incoming freshmen are invited to attend Southern Freshman Orientation on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Drop-off is from 9:00–9:30 a.m.).

Orientation is designed to help students start high school with confidence by introducing them to the Southern community, meeting teachers and staff, learning about academics and student expectations, exploring clubs and activities, touring the campus, and connecting with fellow Spartans.

Parents and guardians are also encouraged to attend a Parent Information Meeting from 4:00–5:00 p.m. to learn about important school information, resources, and ways to support their student's success.
