Brogden is pleased to welcome Ms. Dannet Morales as the school’s new Community School Coordinator. Morales brings experience in education and family engagement and will work closely with students, families, staff, and community partners to expand access to resources and strengthen collaborative opportunities throughout the Brogden community.
As a Community School Coordinator, Ms. Morales will serve in a full-time role dedicated to connecting members of the school community with relevant programs, services, and support. Her work will help ensure that Brogden continues to address the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of its students and families.
As part of Brogden Middle's Community School model, the school will focus on the following areas:
Family Resource Center: Providing students and families with access to essential resources, including food, clothing, and other necessities.
Programs and Partnerships: Strengthening current partnerships and developing new collaborations that support academics, social services, mental and physical health, and staff wellness.
School Advisory Board: Engaging students, parents and guardians, staff, and community members in identifying priorities and supporting schoolwide programs and services.
Coordinated Support: Helping students and families connect with appropriate school and community-based resources.
“I am excited to join the Brogden community and look forward to supporting our students, families, teachers, and staff,” Morales said. “My goal is to enhance available resources and foster collaborative opportunities that strengthen our entire school community.”
