ReNew Church Donation

At Brogden, Our Brogden is more than a phrase; it is a commitment we make to one another to lead with care, community, and shared responsibility for every student and family we serve. That promise is most visible when our community comes together in meaningful ways, and ReNew Christian Church exemplifies what that commitment looks like in action.

Under the leadership of Greg Coverdale, ReNew Christian Church recognized a growing need among Brogden families experiencing housing instability and responded with compassion and urgency. By mobilizing their congregation, the church raised $4,800 in hotel gift certificates and grocery gift cards, providing immediate, tangible relief to families during a critical time.

Beyond financial support, ReNew Christian Church’s generosity reached directly into the daily lives of our families. Because of their willingness to give, the shelves of Brogden’s food pantry were filled, ensuring students and families have access to food and essential items when they need them most. These acts of care remove barriers, restore stability, and allow students to focus on learning and growth.

Central to this partnership is the collaboration with our school social worker, Rachael Norris, who is coordinating the distribution of resources with care, dignity, and discretion. This thoughtful partnership ensures that support is not only generous but also intentional, reaching families in ways that honor their needs and circumstances.

What makes this partnership especially powerful is that ReNew Christian Church did more than donate; they listened, responded, and stood alongside our school community, strengthening the village that surrounds our students.

As we reflect on this work, we are reminded that Our Brogden is not confined to our campus walls. It lives in the actions of community partners who believe in our students, show up for our families, and walk with us when support is needed most. Thank you, ReNew Christian Church, for your generosity! Your commitment is a powerful reminder that Our Brogden is strongest when we move forward together.
