What Is CTE Month?
Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with hands-on, real-world learning experiences that connect academic knowledge to high-demand careers. Each February, schools across the nation celebrate Career and Technical Education Month to raise awareness of CTE programs, highlight student achievement, and showcase how CTE supports workforce readiness and economic growth.
This year's theme—Awareness, Exposure, and Exploration—emphasizes helping students:
Become aware of career pathways and opportunities
Gain exposure to hands-on learning and industry experiences
Explore careers, skills, and postsecondary options
