Shelters & Safety
Winter Shelters: Open Table Ministries operates an expanded winter shelter for adults from 7-8:30 p.m. at 806 Clarendon St (Nov 15, 2025 – March 15, 2026).
White Flag Shelters: Activated during extreme cold; check for active locations on the city's website.
Special Needs Shelter Registration: Residents with functional needs can register for assistance during evacuations via Durham County Emergency Management.
