Shout out to all of our student-athletes in Girls Soccer, Softball, Baseball, and Lacrosse who were recognized at yesterday’s awards ceremony. What an amazing season each of you had, and we are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and perseverance you displayed throughout the year. You represented Rogers-Herr well both on and off the field.
Thank you to all of our parents and coaches for the countless hours, support, encouragement, and sacrifices you poured into our scholars this season. None of this would have been possible without you. Congratulations to everyone on a wonderful season and all of the well-deserved recognitions!
EOGs
EOGs began last week, and we are excited for our scholars to show all they have learned and the growth they have made this year. This week’s testing schedule:
Monday, June 1 - Math 1& Science 8
Tuesday, June 2 - ELA 6 and ELA 7
Wednesday, June 3 - June 5 - Remediation for students who opted in for retesting.
Speaking of Retesting - We have sent several messages regarding the opportunity for students to participate in retesting if they do not score proficient on their initial EOG assessment. Please remember that this is an opt-in opportunity, and we want to ensure that all of our scholars have the chance to take advantage of this option if needed.
Retesting, if necessary, will occur during our regular school day operations and will not create any additional burden for students or families.
To be proactive, we are asking all families to complete the opt-in process, even if you fully expect your child to score proficient on the first administration. Selecting to opt in now will have no negative impact and simply ensures that your child has access to an additional opportunity should it become needed.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies
Our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies are scheduled for Wednesday, June 10.
As this is the first year that 8th grade is not teamed, ceremonies will be organized a bit differently. Please review the ceremony times based on your child’s last name to ensure you attend the correct session.
At the conclusion of each ceremony, students may leave with their parents or guardians. To ensure a safe and organized dismissal, parents must sign their student out at the sign-out table located in the main lobby.
We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you and your child.
