As a reminder, it doesn’t matter how you start, but how you finish that counts. Rams exemplify RESPECT, OWNERSHIP, CHARACTER, and KNOWLEDGE at all times. Rams are scholars, Rams are leaders, and Rams ALWAYS ROCK!
Ram Chats
Last week, we held our final grade-level Ram Chats with students, and the message was simple and intentional:
Finish strong!
As we approach the end of the school year, this is a critical time for our students. We are asking every scholar to stay focused and give their very best effort all the way through the last day.
Here’s what we emphasized with students, and where we need your partnership:
Complete all assignments
Please encourage your child to check for missing work and turn in all assignments on time.
Ask for help
If your child is unsure about something, we are encouraging them to speak up and seek support from their teachers.
Take advantage of extra help opportunities
Many teachers are offering additional support during lunch, before school, or after school. These moments can make a big difference.
Stay focused and engaged
We want students to remain locked in on their learning and avoid distractions during this important stretch.
This is the time where small efforts can lead to big outcomes; whether it’s improving a grade, mastering a skill, or building confidence.
We appreciate your continued support in reinforcing these expectations at home. Together, we can ensure that every student finishes the year with success and pride.
Report Cards
Report cards were sent home Friday, April 10. Please take time to review your child’s progress and reach out to their teachers if you have any questions. If you are having difficulty reaching your child’s teacher, please contact Dr. Stewart.
PTA General Body Meeting
Please join us at Rogers-Herr, Thursday, April 23 (6:30pm) for our General Body PTA Meeting.
8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies
Our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremonies are scheduled for Wednesday, June 10.
As this is the first year that 8th grade is not teamed, ceremonies will be organized a bit differently. Please review the ceremony times based on your child’s last name to ensure you attend the correct session.
At the conclusion of each ceremony, students may leave with their parents or guardians. To ensure a safe and organized dismissal, parents must sign their student out at the sign-out table located in the main lobby.
We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with you and your child.
9:30-10:30 Last names beginning with A-J
11:00-12:00 Last names beginning with K-Z
Thank you for making Rogers-Herr an extraordinary place to learn, work, and grow! We look forward to seeing our Ram scholars back Monday morning and as always, Rams ROCK!
