Principal’s Update for the Week of 2-15-26
Dear Rogers-Herr Middle School Families and Guardians,
Happy Week 7 of Quarter 3! We are moving quickly through the quarter, and our scholars continue to show focus, growth, and resilience. This is an important stretch of the semester as students prepare for upcoming assessments, projects, and continued academic progress.
We encourage you to continue checking Canvas, reviewing assignments, and having regular conversations with your child about their learning goals. Every week matters, and consistent effort now makes a big difference later.
Thank You PTA
Thank you so much for providing a Valentine’s lunch for our staff. Your kindness and generosity truly meant a great deal to our team.
Gestures like this remind our educators that they are valued and appreciated—not just for the work they do, but for the heart they bring to serving our students each day. The lunch was thoughtful, uplifting, and perfectly timed.
We are grateful for your continued support of our Rogers-Herr community.
Tomorrow - February 16
Please note that next Monday, February 16, is a Teacher Workday. There will be no school for students on that day.
Softball Interest
Calling all young ladies interested in playing softball! There will be a softball interest meeting for students and parents on February 17 at 4:30 p.m.
This meeting will provide important information about the upcoming season, expectations, and next steps. If your scholar is interested in participating, we encourage both students and parents to attend.
Photos
Club photos and 8th grade picture re-takes will take place on Tuesday, February 17. Please help your scholar come prepared and ready to smile for the camera.
