We’re officially past the halfway point of the first semester, and our Ram Scholars are making great progress! Thank you for your continued partnership and encouragement. Please remind your scholar to stay focused, turn in all assignments on time, and keep pushing toward excellence. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish this quarter strong!

Character Counts
Character Counts at Rogers-Herr and for this month of November we are focused on the character trait Good Judgement.
Good Judgement means showing:
What It Looks Like
Taking time to think before speaking or acting.
Making choices that are safe, kind, and responsible.
Following rules even when no one is watching.
Listening to advice from teachers, parents, and peers.
Considering how your actions affect others.
Learning from mistakes and making better choices next time.
Balancing what you want to do with what’s right to do.
What It Sounds Like

“That’s not a good idea; we could get in trouble.”
“I’m going to finish my work before I play.”
“I’m sorry, I should’ve made a better choice.”
As a family, discuss the importance of exhibiting good judgment daily.
