Principal’s Update Week of: 8-31-25
As we move into Week 7, we are proud of how our Rams are showing encouragement and support for one another. From classrooms to the athletic fields, it is clear that our students are building a strong community of teamwork that reflects the spirit of Rogers-Herr.
Please remember, there will be no school on Monday in observance of Labor Day.
We also want to bring to your attention the fact that we are seeing a rise in student phone use during the school day. Please help us by reminding your child that phone restrictions are not just a school rule, they are aligned with state law. Phones must remain put away during instructional time so that our students can stay focused on learning.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller
Thank you for your continued support in making Week 7 another strong week of learning and growth at Rogers-Herr!

RHMS Showcase of Clubs
Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM in the RHMS Gym, we will host our annual Showcase of Clubs. This special event offers families the opportunity to explore the wide variety of extracurricular clubs RHMS has to offer, including academic competitions and service groups to arts, athletics, and special-interest clubs.
Each club will have a table where students and families can meet advisors, ask questions, and learn how to get involved. Whether your child is looking to try something new, develop their talents, or connect with friends who share similar interests, the Showcase is the perfect place to start.
We look forward to seeing you there and helping your Ram Scholar discover their next passion!

Effective Communication
Strong and consistent communication between home and school is key to every child’s success. If you have an immediate question or concern, we encourage you to first reach out to your child’s teacher, as they are the primary point of contact and best equipped to address classroom-related matters.
If further support is needed after connecting with the teacher, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s grade-level administrator. We are confident that by following these chains of command, your concerns will be addressed and resolved. We value our partnership with you and are committed to working together to ensure the best possible experience for your child.
