Principal’s Update Week of: 8-17-25

Wow, can you believe we’re only 5 weeks away from intersession?! We are absolutely breezing through this first quarter, and our students are on fire with their effort, growth, and determination. Every day, we see them setting goals, working hard, and making us proud.

Thank you for being such an essential part of our team.  Your support, encouragement, and partnership make all the difference. Together, we’re creating a school year full of wins for every child!

"Parents are the ultimate role models for children. Every word, movement, and action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parent." – Bob Keeshan

We’re on a roll. Let’s keep pushing forward and making every week count as we head toward intersession.

Thank You, PTA!

A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for providing a delicious lunch for our staff on Early Release Day last week. Your thoughtfulness and generosity truly made the day extra special for our team. We are so grateful for your continued support and all you do to make Rogers-Herr a great place for students and staff alike!

Effective Communication

Strong and consistent communication between home and school is key to every child’s success. If you have an immediate question or concern, we encourage you to first reach out to your child’s teacher, as they are the primary point of contact and best equipped to address classroom-related matters.

If further support is needed after connecting with the teacher, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s grade-level administrator. We are confident that by following these chains of command, your concerns will be addressed and resolved. We value our partnership with you and are committed to working together to ensure the best possible experience for your child.
