MORNING CARPOOL VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers to help with morning carpool through the last day of school while our staff is inside preparing for end‑of‑year testing. If you’re able to help from 7:10–7:45 AM, please meet us at the picnic table near the gym.
FIELD DAY
Thank you for volunteering your time and energy to make Field Day such a success. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and willingness to jump in wherever needed made the entire event run smoothly and created a fun, memorable experience for all the students.
EOG TESTING FOR 3rd – 5th GRADERS
North Carolina requires these annual tests to be administered during the final 10 days of the school year Testing will begin on Thursday, May 28th. Testing begins at 7:50 am each day and runs until 11:30 am
May 28th - 3rd Reading & 5th Science
May 29th - 4th Reading
June 1st – Make-ups
June 2nd – 3rd & 5th Math
June 3rd – 3rd RTA & 5th Reading
June 4th – 4th Math
June 5th-10th – Make-Ups & Retesting - As a reminder parental/legal guardian permission is required for a student to participate in a retest. The Consent to Retest form is located on the front page of our website. https://shorturl.at/kPwA6
YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION
If you missed the initial ordering window, you still have two options to purchase a copy:
1. Purchase from the PTA: Visit Ms. Fisher at the SWE front desk to buy one of the extra yearbooks ordered by the PTA. The price is $20, payable by cash or check made out to Southwest PTA.
2. Order Online: Beginning June 1st, Strawbridge will reopen the online ordering portal. The price will be $30, and the yearbook will be shipped directly to your home.
