Durham families are invited to explore, learn, and connect at Science After Sunset, a special evening event designed to make science fun and accessible for all ages.
Hosted by the Office of Federal Programs & Community Engagement in partnership with the Title I Parent & Family Engagement Advisory Steering Committee, this event offers a unique opportunity for families to experience hands-on learning in an exciting setting.
The event will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Museum of Life & Science in Durham. Activities begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue through 8:00 p.m., with dinner provided starting at 5:30 p.m.
Families can expect an engaging evening filled with interactive exhibits, opportunities to explore the museum after hours, and meaningful time spent learning together. Events like this are designed to strengthen family engagement while sparking curiosity in science, technology, and the natural world.
