TALENT SHOW
Friday, February 27th Southwest will be holding a Black History Talent Show from 5-7PM in the gym. Performances will represent and reflect on African American History, whether it’s poetry reading, singing, dancing or even playing an instrument.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

SPIRIT WEEK: Feb. 23rd-27th
Monday: Melanin Magic -Wear brown, tan, gold, or neutral tones.
Tuesday: Students wear HBCU colors, shirts, or college gear
Wednesday: Unity in the Community -Wear red, black, green
Thursday: Throwback Thursday- Dress from your favorite decade (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s)
Friday: African American Legends Day-Students dress in a way that represents a famous African American (past or present).
NO SCHOOL
There will be no school Tuesday, March 3rd due to a scheduled Teacher Workday. Enjoy the day off—see you back in class soon, refreshed and ready to go!
