DISTRICT BENCHMARK TESTING
As we reach near the halfway point of the school year, students in grades 3–5 will participate in middle-of-year benchmark testing. These assessments provide valuable insight into each child’s academic progress, highlighting strengths and identifying areas where additional support may be needed. The results help teachers adjust instruction to ensure students are on track for end-of-year goals, while also giving families a clear picture of growth.

HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE
Student Services Team has contacted some of our more vulnerable families and compiled an Amazon Wishlist of gifts for Southwest Students. PTA STAFF CHILI BAR
The PTA is excited to host a warm and hearty Chili Bar on Thursday, December 18th to show appreciation for our amazing staff! CHOCOLATADA
After much deliberation, the team has determined they will postpone this year’s Chocolatada. We anticipate rescheduling for a time more beneficial to all families.

NO SCHOOL
School will be closed Dec 20th – Jan 4th for Winter Break. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season filled with fun, family, and a little bit of magic.
