Shout-out to Mr. Mann and RHS Band Program for a wonderful Winter Concert Thursday night in collaboration with the Brogden Middle School Band.

Mr. Oakley is the November Pirate Hero of the Month for November.

Ms. Simpson is the Pirate Hero Teacher for the Month of October.
-- Ms. Simpson teaches one of the most difficult classes at Riverside in a super fun and engaging way. She puts so much work into making sure to teach in a way that everyone understands, even printing out guided notes for every day in class.
-- Calculus with Mrs. Simpson was the greatest class I’ve ever taken. I didn’t realize how much I loved math until I took her class. Every day I would leave her room full of curiosity, eager to learn more. I started looking into research and dual enrollment, any way I could satisfy the passion for learning she ignited in me... My time in her class single handedly changed the trajectory of my education."

Please congratulate the Riverside Chapter of FBLA! On Saturday, November 22, the chapter attended the FBLA Regional Leadership Conference at Green Hope High School in Cary.

We extend our congratulations to Michaela Rincon-Reyes, who earned 3rd place in the Spirit Contest – Pin Design, and to Charles Soles and Issac John, who earned 4th place in the Spirit Contest – T-Shirt Design.

We are proud of all FBLA members who attended the conference! The chapter will advance to the State Leadership Conference in Greensboro this March!
