Northern DECA will be hosting a school-day leadership and career readiness event for seniors on April 7, 2026, titled DECA Leadership Glow Up: The Professional Experience, during 1st and 2nd period (9:15 AM – 1:05 PM).
This event is designed to provide seniors with real-world professional experiences that directly support their transition beyond high school. Students will participate in activities such as professional headshots, resume development, mock interviews, and sessions with guest speakers from Durham’s business community.
We are asking for your support in allowing selected seniors to attend this event during your class period. This experience aligns with our shared goal of preparing students for college, careers, and future opportunities, and will provide them with practical skills they can immediately apply.
