Taking place between June and August, this program places students with a variety of employers across the Durham community, providing meaningful, hands-on work experiences in diverse industries.  Through structured workplace learning, students gain exposure to career pathways, develop essential professional skills, and expand their networks with local professionals and mentors. Participants receive ongoing support, guided reflection activities, and career readiness training to help them grow in confidence and prepare for postsecondary success.  At the conclusion of the program, students earn a recognized career credential that demonstrates their professional competencies and workplace readiness. Participants who successfully complete all program requirements receive a stipend of $1,800, recognizing their dedication and contributions during the internship experience.
