September is Attendance Awareness Month and we are celebrating with a spirit week, September 23-26th! Encourage your students to show up on time, every day and show their school spirit!
Being absent in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year. Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school! Set good habits early and make attendance a priority!
