Over 300 candy cane grams were sold and delivered to our amazing school staff.
A special shout-out to Ms. Angie in the front office, who received the most candy canes this year! 💖
Thank you, families, for supporting our staff and helping us share a little extra sweetness this season! ✨

As the year winds down, we hope you will join us at the Community Meeting (facilitated by the PTA) on Thursday to reflect and connect before the Winter Extravaganza. From 5-5:30pm, we will share “behind the scenes” accomplishments, preview what’s to come this spring, and have informal time to meet other parents.
Childcare and Spanish interpretation will be provided for those who need it. Note that children must be toilet-trained for the childcare.

As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer, people all over the world find beautiful ways to bring light into the season. From candles and lanterns to fireworks and twinkling trees. Light reminds us of hope, joy, and connection, no matter where we live or what traditions we celebrate.
We invite every student, family, teacher, and staff member to show how you bring light into your own winter traditions!

Next week will be our school-wide winter spirit week to get us in the festive, cheerful spirit!  See flyer for details.

Join us next Tuesday evening, 12/9, for a restaurant fundraiser and walk to see holiday lights downtown. * Dine out at Bull City Burger and Brewery (107 E Parrish St # 105, Durham, NC), and Murray-Massenburg receives 10% of proceeds. * Meet outside the restaurant at 6pm for a short stroll with other families to see winter lights downtown.
