For decades, the Woodcroft Swim & Tennis Club has been a cornerstone of youth recreation in South Durham. The Club offers swim lessons, a competitive swim team, school-year and summer camp programs, and family membership opportunities.
From now until October 15, when you sign up for one of the Club’s youth workday or intersession camps, Woodcroft will donate 5% of your tuition to Hope Valley to support our school's PTA. We're tickled pink at HVE today! Last night at the Mr Strongly Show and Raffle, we had a blast raising $2,500 to contribute to our overall OneFundraiser total of $33,000. We're nearly at our $40,000 goal, and today the kids celebrated the success of the OneFundraiser by dancing and singing with Carpool Casanova, and having fun at the Fall Festival and silly stringing our admin team in their shark costumes! Everyone is rocking their new HVE shirts today! We've raised almost $30,000 and we're so close to our goal–every dollar raised helps fund all the amazing PTA programs we have planned in addition to classroom licenses for programs like Flocabulary and Science A-Z. On Tuesday, September 16, our school will conduct a tornado drill as part of our regular safety procedures. This practice helps ensure that students and staff know what to do in the event of severe weather.
