Durham Public Schools is a changing school district in a changing county, but attendance areas for our schools have not changed system-wide since the city and county districts merged in 1992.

Return to the Classroom

As we begin planning for the remainder of the academic year, we want to offer pre-K and elementary families the opportunity to express their desire to participate in limited in-person instruction for the spring semester 2020-2021 (beginning in January 2021), should we return to in-person learning. This opportunity will be extended to all students Pre-K through 5th grade, as well as all students with disabilities regardless of grade level.
