Please see below for information and events important to our Return to School for the 2024-25 school year:

Student Schedules on Infinite Campus - All families should have received a unique URL link via email from DurhamPublicSchools@psu320nc.mg.infinitecampus.org, This email will help guide you in setting up an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account so that families may access student schedules and other important information. If your family did not receive this email, you can access your student's unique activation code at this link: Infinite Campus Activation Code. Here also is a link to the Infinite Campus Parent and Student Guide (and the Spanish version).

  • Students can view their schedules on Infinite Campus by logging into NCEDCloud, selecting NCSIS (which are the initials for Infinite Campus), and then clicking "Schedule" to view classes.

Special Scheduling Information for Seniors - Seniors planning to graduate in January of 2026 and juniors who wish to follow an accelerated graduation plan and complete high school in 3 years should complete the RHS Early Graduation Request Form 2025-26. Those seniors who qualify to have a shortened school day must complete the 2025-26 Early Release/ Late Arrival Request Form. The 2025-26 Independent Study Form should be completed by seniors who will work with teachers as TAs. Be reminded that students do not earn credit for working as TAs.

Schedule Changes for Fall Semester - The official 2025/26 RHS Schedule Change Request Form should be used to request all schedule adjustments.  This form will be available to students and parents through Friday, August 29th at 4:15pm. The 2025/26 Drop/Add Resource Guide will assist you with this process.  Please note that counselors will address course change requests virtually.

Transportation  - Riverside families can now log-on to the district's Edulog ap to see if a bus route has already been assigned to your Riverside student. Here is a link to information on how to download and use the Edulog ap: (https://www.edulog.com/parent-help/#parentportal).

  • If you do not see a bus route assigned to your Riverside student, please complete the following google form to request bus transportation for the upcoming school year: https://forms.gle/HfywbRmVABsvtVLh6.  Our data manager Ms. Zwickle-Cheek and assistant principal Mr. Jones will monitor this form to request bus transportation for your student.  

    • Please note that bus routes typically take up to ten days to be assigned after the request has been submitted.  

    • Families will need to continue to check the Edulog ap to see when a bus route has been assigned to your Riverside student. 

      Transportation

      will not be indicated in Infinite Campus.  Bus route information will also be available at Open House.   

DPS /RHS Technology Fee - Beginning this school year, Durham Public Schools is requiring a $30 annual technology fee for high school students in order to support device sustainability and repair. This technology fee can be paid at the DPS Online Pay Portal. Durham Public Schools is committed to ensuring all students have access to the technology needed for learning. If your family is experiencing financial hardship, you may request a waiver of the Student Technology Fee by completing this form.

Rooms Communication Platform - This school year, DPS is utilizing the Rooms Communication Platform for teachers, coaches, counselors, and club advisers to communicate with families. Please see this page to learn how to download and utilize the Rooms Ap: https://www.dpsnc.net/page/rooms.

Open House for All Students and Families on Friday, August 22 (6 - 8 pm) - All students and families are invited to join us for a floating open house to walk student schedules, meet teachers and counselors, learn about clubs and other extracurriculars, ask questions about transportation and nutrition, etc.

1st Day of School for Students on Monday, August 25 (a few notes for this year)

Curriculum Night for Families on Tuesday, September 9 (5:30 - 7 pm) - Families are invited to walk their students' schedules and learn more about teachers' curriculums and expectations for students for the Fall semester.
