Women’s History Month
During the month of March, we celebrate Women’s History Month. Women’s History Month is a time to honor the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women throughout history and today. From trailblazers in science, politics, and the arts to everyday heroes in our communities, this month reminds us to celebrate the women shaping our world and inspiring future generations. Students will learn about Women’s History Month during morning meeting this month.
Social Emotional Learning
National SEL Week 3/9-3/13: During this week, students will engage in daily social and emotional learning (SEL) activities through interactive lessons, group discussions, and hands-on exercises during morning meeting. These activities help build skills like empathy, self-awareness, and teamwork, promoting positive relationships, emotional well-being, and a supportive school community. At the end of the week check-in to see what new skills your student learned.
SEL Activities At Home:
Parents, you can support your child’s Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) at home by encouraging open conversations about feelings, modeling empathy, and helping them practice positive ways to handle challenges. These simple moments build confidence, resilience, and strong relationships.
