Durham Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department is proud to host ACCELER8 2025 on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Durham County Memorial Stadium (750 Stadium Dr, Durham, NC 27704).

ACCELER8 is an interactive career expo designed for all DPS 8th graders. Through hands-on simulations and real-world experiences, students will explore career pathways in high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand fields. The event brings together community, education, and business partners to inspire students and expand their awareness of future opportunities.

“ACCELER8 puts our students in the driver’s seat of their futures,” said DPS CTE leadership. “By connecting them directly with local industries and career professionals, we’re helping them see the real possibilities waiting beyond the classroom.”
