Last week, our community faced a deeply concerning incident. While no one was physically harmed, we are taking every measure to ensure the continued safety of our students and staff. Please know the safety of our school community is our highest priority and we remain committed to protocols and procedures that keep our school safe. Counselors and student support services remain available to all students should they need them. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.

May 15 - Spring Performance & Concert: Band, Chorus, & Drumline (6pm)

Math Madness School-Wide Competition
Students are participating in a school-wide math competition. The 6th Grade Explorers Team won Round 2…. congratulations!!!. A sunrise breakfast spread will be planned for this team. Our last and final round will end this Friday. As a reminder, the overall winning team will earn a surprise team fun day.
Athletic Updates for the Week of May 12th
Monday, 5/12: Track Practice 3:30-5:30p
Tuesday, 5/13: Track Championships @ Durham County Stadium (2:00pm)
(Track Team Members will be released at 12 noon; track parents are required to pick up athletes from Durham County Stadium at the end of meet.)

Students cannot attend games without Parent or Guardian present*
Game Tickets and Admissions
The DPS Athletic Department will not accept cash at the gates.
GoFan is for spectators to purchase tickets for all athletic events.
There will be no cash at the door for games.
Tickets must be purchased through GoFan in advance.
All tickets are $8 for adults.
Elementary age students are admitted to games for free
You will need to create an account to finalize your purchase for both home and away games.
