Durham Early College of Health Sciences is thrilled to announce that Ms. Syeda Enayet will be joining DECHS as our new math teacher, beginning in August. Ms. Enayet brings with her over a decade of experience in math instruction, a deep passion for student growth, and a proven track record of supporting academic success for diverse learners.
🎓 Educational Background
Ms. Enayet holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University. Her academic preparation includes coursework in computer programming, statistics, accounting, public speaking, and communication—skills that she skillfully incorporates into her teaching. She completed professional development through the North Carolina State University Beginning Teacher Institute (NCSUBTI).
👩🏫 Teaching Experience
Ms. Enayet's most recent position was at Green Hope High School in Cary, where she was responsible for instruction in Honors Math I and Academic Math II. Prior to GHHS, she taught at C.E. Jordan High School, here in Durham Public Schools, serving students in grades 9–12 across a variety of math courses.
