Paper quilt of hexagon shapes with Black History biographies

Black History Month was a whole school event at George Watts Montessori.

Student work lit up the walls on all three floors of the building. Student work ranged from beautiful art inspired by African American artists, to biographical research to collaborative quilts bursting with facts and images of notable Black Americans.

Black History month culminated with a family evening event that featured student lead conferences, tours of student work displays and of course, food and fellowship!
