Senior portraits will be taken in Weaver Auditorium on the following dates:
Monday, July 22, 2025
Tuesday, July 23, 2025
Wednesday, July 24, 2025
These summer dates are scheduled earlier than usual, so please plan accordingly! Families have two session options. Click the links below to schedule your preferred session with Strawbridge Studios:
🎓Full Senior Portrait Session – Includes multiple backgrounds and outfit changes.
Sitting fee: $29.99
🎓 Formal Senior Portrait Only – Includes just the formal photo for the Yearbook.
Sitting fee: $19.99
Students who don’t take portraits over the summer will have two in-school opportunities to take the formal Yearbook photo only:

🎒 Fill That Bus! Fuel the Year – Starts Today! 🚍
Durham, let’s kick off the school year right! The annual “Fill That Bus! Fuel the Year” school supply drive begins today, running through August 8. Our good friends at the DPS Foundation will be leading the effort in restocking the shelves at Crayons2Calculators so every DPS teacher has the tools needed—completely free—for student success 📝📚
What’s happening:
Community-wide efforts to gather essential supplies—pencils, notebooks, art tools, rulers, folders, tissue, and more.
Drop-off bins are set up around the city (libraries, churches, businesses) and at Crayons2Calculators warehouse, 808 Bacon St., open Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11 am–3 pm.
Prefer to support digitally? Financial donations help purchase high-need items efficiently.
Why it matters:
Last year, Crayons2Calculators distributed over $129,000 in supplies, supporting 96% of DPS teachers at 59 schools—and many teachers still spend hundreds out-of-pocket.

Students will be Breathalyzed – any chemical impairment will result in immediate removal from the prom and parents called.
If you are not a current DSA Junior or Senior a guest form is required
Guest must be under 21 years old and at least in the 9th grade
Guest who have not completed the DSA Prom Guest Form by Monday May 5, 2025, will not be admitted into the prom venue.
Only one guest per DSA junior/senior
Guest and student must arrive together for check in
All ticket sales are final- No Refunds
Guest forms are located in the main office and student services (forms must be returned to main office)
