Please review the following weekly announcements carefully:
For students enrolled at Durham Tech, tomorrow marks your first day of classes. Please be sure to review the Durham Tech Tutoring Service Agreement with your parent or guardian, have it signed, and return it to the front office tomorrow morning or at some point during the school day.
11th-grade students are reminded to return their Student Climate Survey letters to the front office. The survey will be administered on Friday, January 16.
Students are encouraged to check their school email accounts daily. Our Career Development Office shares internship opportunities, conferences, and field trips on a weekly basis.
Parents of car riders, please ensure that your scholar arrives to school by 9:00 a.m. daily. We also appreciate your continued support in reminding students that cell phones must be powered off during the instructional day.
This week, lunch will be held from 12:30–1:00 p.m. to accommodate Hillside High School testing schedules. Parents who plan to drop off lunch should ensure it is delivered within the first 10 minutes of the lunch period.
We would like to extend special recognition to our student-athletes:
Jonas Wilson and Tacari Crews for placing 1st in their wrestling weight classes
Amauri Crews for placing 3rd
Finally, congratulations to the following seniors on their college acceptances:
Khamari Dorsey – North Carolina A&T State University and Fayetteville State University
Ismeal Parra-Castro – Appalachian State University

Por favor, revisen cuidadosamente los siguientes anuncios semanales:
Para los estudiantes inscritos en Durham Tech, mañana será su primer día de clases. Les pedimos que revisen el Acuerdo de Servicios de Tutoría de Durham Tech junto con su padre, madre o tutor, lo firmen y lo devuelvan a la oficina principal mañana por la mañana o en algún momento durante el día.
Los estudiantes de 11.º grado deben devolver a la oficina las cartas de la Encuesta del Clima Estudiantil. La encuesta se administrará el viernes 16 de enero.
Se les recuerda a los estudiantes que revisen su correo electrónico escolar diariamente. Nuestra Oficina de Desarrollo Profesional comparte semanalmente oportunidades de pasantías, conferencias y excursiones.
Padres de estudiantes que llegan en automóvil, por favor asegúrense de que su estudiante llegue a la escuela todos los días antes de las 9:00 a. m. Agradecemos su apoyo continuo al recordar a nuestros estudiantes que los teléfonos celulares deben permanecer apagados durante el horario de instrucción.
Esta semana, el horario de almuerzo será de 12:30 p. m. a 1:00 p. m. para acomodar los horarios de exámenes de Hillside High School. Los padres que planeen traer el almuerzo a su hijo/a deben entregarlo dentro de los primeros 10 minutos del período de almuerzo.
