Happy Sunday evening, DST Families. I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving break. We are excited to welcome our scholars back to campus tomorrow.
Beginning this week and continuing into next week, our EOC students will receive additional support through our EOC Academy. During this time, students will engage in critical review sessions to prepare for their upcoming state assessments in two weeks.
Parents, please take a moment to review your child’s grades as we enter the final two weeks of the semester. Encourage them to finish strong, and do not hesitate to reach out to their teachers if you have any questions or concerns.
As a reminder, cell phones will not be permitted on campus next semester. If a student is seen with a phone on their person, it will be confiscated and released only to a parent or guardian.
On a lighter note, congratulations to the following seniors on their college acceptances:
• Khamari Dorsey – Livingston University, NCCU, and Johnson C. Smith University
• Mario Rochelle – Morgan State University and UNCG
We are proud of their accomplishments!

Feliz domingo por la noche, familias de DST. Espero que todos hayan disfrutado de un maravilloso descanso de Acción de Gracias. Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes de regreso al campus mañana.
A partir de esta semana y continuando la próxima, nuestros estudiantes que toman EOC recibirán apoyo adicional a través de la Academia EOC. Durante este tiempo, participarán en sesiones de repaso crítico para prepararse para sus evaluaciones estatales en dos semanas.
Padres, por favor tómense un momento para revisar las calificaciones de sus hijos mientras entramos en las últimas dos semanas del semestre. Anímenlos a terminar con fuerza y no duden en comunicarse con sus maestros si tienen preguntas o inquietudes.
Como recordatorio, los teléfonos celulares no estarán permitidos en el campus el próximo semestre. Si un estudiante es visto con un teléfono en su posesión, será confiscado y solo será devuelto a un padre o tutor.
En una nota más positiva, felicitamos a los siguientes estudiantes de último año por sus admisiones universitarias:
