Mrs. Gibbs’s fourth graders know a lot about animals! Students learned about ecosystems, adaptations, life cycles, food webs, and more. Then, they took all that knowledge and used it to create a new animal. Each animal “discovery” has physical and behavioral adaptations that help it survive. Students created slideshows and art to showcase their animal’s unique features. The culminating event was a publishing party where families and staff came to view and celebrate the finished product.
