  • NC Aquarium Visits Neal

Neal was awarded a grant from the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher for an outreach program on NC Wild Wetlands. The Aquarium was here Monday to present their exhibit to our 8th grade students. The Aquarium helped to support our current 8th grade Ecosystem/Hydrology unit. They discussed healthy habitats and students got an up close and personal introduction to NC Wetland animals. The Aquarium brought a baby alligator, a box turtle, bullfrogs, and a snake. Thanks to the 8th grade teachers as well as Ms. Sotolongo and Ms. Shafto for letting the Aquarium use their space! Check out pictures from the visit in the gallery.
