MOY Benchmark Testing

All students will take their mid-year benchmark assessments December 5th through December 11th. It is important for all students to take these assessments seriously as we will utilize the data as a tool to help us increase student achievement. It is important for all students to arrive at school on time and ready to take their assessments. This weeks testing schedule will be as follows:

• Monday, December 4th will operate as a regularly scheduled day.
• Tuesday, December 5th - 8th Math/Math I
• Wednesday, December 6th - 7th Grade Math/8th Grade Science
• Thursday, December 7th - 6th Grade Math/8th Grade ELA
• Friday, December 8th - 6th Grade ELA, 7th Grade ELA, English I
• Monday, December 11th - Make Ups 

Athletics

All athletic events start at 4:45 pm. Games for this week are as follows:

Tuesday, December 5th

• Basketball vs. Githens (HOME)

Wednesday, December 6th

• Wrestling vs. DSA & Carrington (AWAY @ Carrington)

Thursday, December 7th

• Basketball vs. DSA (AWAY)

Progress Reports

Progress reports will be distributed to students Tuesday, December 5th.

Make-Up Picture Day

We will have our make-up day for Fall pictures Friday, December 8th. If your student missed Picture Day in October, please be sure they are present to take their picture this week. These photos will be used in this year’s yearbook.

BMS Band Boosters Dine-Out Event

The BMS Band Boosters will be hosting a dine-out event at The Loop on Broad St. Tuesday, December 5th. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the BMS Band Boosters. This event is from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Pruebas comparativas de MOY

Todos los estudiantes tomarán sus evaluaciones comparativas de mitad de año del 5 al 11 de diciembre. Es importante que todos los estudiantes tomen en serio estas evaluaciones, ya que utilizaremos los datos como una herramienta para ayudarnos a aumentar el rendimiento estudiantil. Es importante que todos los estudiantes lleguen a la escuela a tiempo y listos para tomar sus evaluaciones. El calendario de pruebas de esta semana será el siguiente:

• El lunes 4 de diciembre funcionará como un día programado regularmente.
• Martes 5 de diciembre - 8vo Matemáticas/Matemáticas I
• Miércoles 6 de diciembre: Matemáticas de 7.º grado/Ciencias de 8.º grado
• Jueves 7 de diciembre: Matemáticas de 6.º grado/ELA de 8.º grado
• Viernes 8 de diciembre: ELA de 6.° grado, ELA de 7.° grado, Inglés I
• Lunes 11 de Diciembre - Día de recuperación

Los informes de progreso se distribuirán a los estudiantes el martes 5 de diciembre.

Recuperación del Día de Foto

Tendremos nuestro día de recuperación para las fotos de otoño el viernes 8 de diciembre. Si su estudiante se perdió el Día de las fotografías en octubre, asegúrese de que esté presente para tomarse la fotografía esta semana. Estas fotografías se utilizarán en el anuario de este año.

Evento de cena fuera de BMS Band Boosters

Los BMS Band Boosters organizarán un evento para cenar fuera en The Loop en Broad St. el martes 5 de diciembre. Un porcentaje de las ganancias beneficiará a BMS Band Boosters. Este evento es de 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
