Good Afternoon Brogden Families,

This is your principal Anthony White. We are excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow morning! Here are a few announcements that will help us get off to a great start.

Arrival & Dismissal

Buses will use the front driveway loop.  Students will get off their bus in front of the school and use the sidewalk to enter the building.  Bike riders and walkers will enter the building using the same entrance as bus riders.  

Carpool will loop behind the building.  Cars must enter on Leon Street in front of the football field and continue behind the building in a single file line.  Signs will be posted in the morning to assist you in knowing where to enter the carpool line.  This will be a NO PASSING zone.  Staff members will be on duty to welcome students and assist with traffic. Cones will be set up to direct the flow of traffic to maintain a single file line.  After dropping off your child you will continue behind the cafeteria, passing the baseball field, and exit campus towards Duke Street. Drivers should make a right turn onto Duke street to assist with the flow of the carpool line.

Daily Bell Schedule

Students will be allowed to enter the building at 8:00 am daily. Our instructional day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:20 pm. All late arrivals should check in at the front of the school. 

Students will NOT be allowed to be dismissed early after 2:45pm. A copy of our daily bell schedule is linked in the email following this message.

Breakfast & Lunch

Breakfast and lunch will be free for all students at Brogden this year. Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria as students arrive on campus. We will continue to allow students to eat lunch outside as weather permits.

Athletics

Tryouts for students who would like to participate in Boys Soccer, Cross Country, and Cheerleading will begin Monday, August 28th. Students will report to the auditorium after dismissal if they plan to try out for any of these sports.

Este es su director Anthony White. ¡Estamos emocionados de dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes de regreso a la escuela mañana por la mañana para comenzar el año escolar 2023-2024!

Llegada y Salida

Los autobuses utilizarán el circuito de entrada de vehículos delantero. Los estudiantes bajarán de su autobús frente a la escuela y usarán la acera para entrar al edificio. Los ciclistas y peatones ingresarán al edificio por la misma entrada que los ciclistas.

Carpool circulará detrás del edificio. Los automóviles deben ingresar por la calle León frente al campo de fútbol y continuar detrás del edificio en una sola fila. Se colocarán letreros en la mañana para ayudarlo a saber dónde ingresar a la línea de viaje compartido. Esta será una zona de NO PASAR. Los miembros del personal estarán de servicio para dar la bienvenida a los estudiantes y ayudar con el tráfico. Se instalarán conos para dirigir el flujo de tráfico para mantener una sola línea de archivo. Después de dejar a su hijo, continuará detrás de la cafetería, pasará el campo de béisbol y saldrá del campus hacia Duke Street. Los conductores deben girar a la derecha en la calle Duke para ayudar con el flujo de la fila de vehículos compartidos.

Horario diario de campana

Los estudiantes podrán ingresar al edificio a las 8:00 am todos los días. Nuestro día de instrucción comienza a las 8:30 am y termina a las 3:20 pm. Todos los que lleguen tarde deben registrarse en el frente de la escuela.

NO se permitirá que los estudiantes salgan temprano después de las 2:45 p. m. Una copia de nuestro horario de timbre diario está vinculada en el correo electrónico que sigue a este mensaje.

Desayuno almuerzo

El desayuno y el almuerzo serán gratuitos para todos los estudiantes de Brogden este año. El desayuno estará disponible en la cafetería cuando los estudiantes lleguen al campus. Continuaremos permitiendo que los estudiantes almuercen afuera según lo permita el clima.

Atletismo

Las pruebas para los estudiantes que deseen participar en fútbol masculino, campo traviesa y porristas comenzarán el lunes 28 de agosto. Los estudiantes se presentarán en el auditorio después de la salida si planean probar alguno de estos deportes.
