Make Up Testing & Remediation Schedule

We will have make-up EOG testing this week. Parents, if your student missed any of their EOG tests last week, please be sure that your child is in attendance this week in order to take their assessments. Also, please note that we will be operating on a different schedule this week to provide targeted remediation and enrichment for our students.

8th Grade Activities

Attention 8th grade parents - On Wednesday, June 7th our students will participate in their Ice Cream Social & Field Day following their promotion ceremony practice. This will be a great time for our students to celebrate this major milestone of finishing middle school. The 8th grade promotion ceremony will be held Thursday, June 8th. There will be two ceremonies (9:30 am - Seahawks Team; 12:00 pm - 49ers & Vikings Teams). Students are only allowed to have two guests attend their promotion ceremony. Guests will need to have a ticket for admittance. Tickets will be distributed to students Wednesday.

Last Day of School

Friday, June 9th is the last day of school for students. Our 6th & 7th grade students, who have met our behavioral expectations, will be participating in Field Day. Friday will also be an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:20 pm.

Take 2

If any students scored at a level below proficiency, they will need to come to the Take 2 program at BMS in order to remediate and retake their assessments. The dates of the program are Monday, June 12th - Friday, June 16th. Students will not necessarily have to come each day of Take 2. Letters with more information will be sent home this week with students if they need to attend Take 2.

Calendario de pruebas y remediación de recuperación

Tendremos pruebas EOG de recuperación esta semana. Padres, si su estudiante perdió alguna de sus pruebas EOG la semana pasada, asegúrese de que su hijo esté presente esta semana para tomar sus evaluaciones. Además, tenga en cuenta que operaremos en un horario diferente esta semana para proporcionar recuperación y enriquecimiento específicos para nuestros estudiantes.

Actividades de 8vo Grado

Atención padres de 8º grado: el miércoles 7 de junio, nuestros estudiantes participarán en su evento social y día de campo con helados después de la práctica de la ceremonia de promoción. Este será un buen momento para que nuestros estudiantes celebren este hito importante de terminar la escuela secundaria. La ceremonia de promoción de octavo grado se llevará a cabo el jueves 8 de junio. Habrá dos ceremonias (9:30 am - Equipo Seahawks; 12:00 pm - Equipos 49ers y Vikings). Los estudiantes solo pueden tener dos invitados para asistir a su ceremonia de promoción. Los invitados deberán tener un boleto para la entrada. Los boletos se distribuirán a los estudiantes el miércoles.

Último día de colegio

El viernes 9 de junio es el último día de clases para los estudiantes. Nuestros estudiantes de 6º y 7º grado, que han cumplido con nuestras expectativas de comportamiento, participarán en el Día de campo. El viernes también será un día de salida temprana. Los estudiantes saldrán a la 1:20 pm.

Tomar 2

Si algún estudiante obtuvo un nivel por debajo de la competencia, deberá venir al programa Take 2 en BMS para remediar y volver a tomar sus evaluaciones. Las fechas del programa son del lunes 12 de junio al viernes 16 de junio. Los estudiantes no necesariamente tendrán que venir todos los días de la Toma 2. Esta semana se enviarán cartas con más información a casa con los estudiantes si necesitan asistir a la Toma 2.
