Memorial Day

There will be no school Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.

EOG Testing Schedule

Tuesday, May 30th

  • Math 7 & Math 8
    • 8th grade Math I students will take their Science test.
    • 7th grade Math I students will take the Math 7 test.
  • NO TESTING FOR 6TH GRADE

Wednesday, May 31th

  • Math 6 & ELA 8
  • NO TESTING FOR 7TH GRADE

Thursday, June 1st

  • ELA 6 & ELA 7
  • NO TESTING FOR 8TH GRADE

Friday, June 2nd

  • Make Up Testing

Parents we need your support with helping to ensure that our students are aware that they are not allowed to have any electronic devices, other than their DPS issued Chromebook, during their testing session. Cellphones, headphones and smartwatches are not allowed in the testing session. If students bring these items to school on the day of testing, they will be collected by their teacher prior to the testing session and returned at the conclusion of the testing. It is also important for students to arrive at school on time.

8th Grade Activities

Attention 8th grade parents - Saturday, June 3rd marks the kick off to our 8th grade end of year activities with our first event, the 8th Sneaker Ball. This event will take place in our gym from 5pm-9pm. Tickets for this event are $30. There will be refreshments for all who are in attendance.

PTA General Body Meeting

When: Thursday, June 1, 6:30pm 

Where: In-person (BMS Auditorium) or Virtual

Everyone is invited! Please come celebrate this year's successes and tell us your ideas for next year! During this hybrid PTA meeting we will have interpretation available through zoom. Please bring your own charged phone and headphones if you would like to participate in the meeting in Spanish.

Padres, necesitamos su apoyo para ayudar a garantizar que nuestros estudiantes sepan que no se les permite tener ningún dispositivo electrónico, que no sea su Chromebook emitido por DPS, durante su sesión de prueba. No se permiten teléfonos celulares, auriculares ni relojes inteligentes en la sesión de prueba. Si los estudiantes traen estos artículos a la escuela el día de la prueba, su maestro los recogerá antes de la sesión de prueba y los devolverá al final de la prueba. También es importante que los estudiantes lleguen a la escuela a tiempo.

Actividades de 8vo Grado

Atención padres de 8º grado: el sábado 3 de junio marca el inicio de nuestras actividades de fin de año de 8º grado con nuestro primer evento, el 8º Sneaker Ball. Este evento se llevará a cabo en nuestro gimnasio de 5pm a 9pm. Las entradas para este evento cuestan $30. Habrá refrigerio para todos los asistentes.
