Crystal Kimpson Roberts is a veteran of school public relations having served four school districts during her career as a strategic communicator.  Before transitioning to school public relations, her early career was launched as a daily newspaper reporter with the Daily Press, Inc. Her passion for writing stems from a belief in the power of storytelling to uplift, educate, and empower the reader to act. In addition to utilizing her overall expertise as a communications practitioner, she’ll lend that passion to the Durham Public Schools by using her keen sense of news and narrative to find and share our untold stories.
