  • Congratulations to all of our Teachers of the Year, who will be celebrated in Wednesday night's banquet at the Washington Duke Inn and Country Club--one of whom will be named the DPS Teacher of the Year!

  • Congratulations to City of Medicine Academy, J.D. Clement Early College High School, and Durham School of the Arts, who received's 2019 College Success Award. Unlike GreatSchools's subjective reviews (and if you're happy with your school, you should totally share a positive review of it at the site!), the College Success Award is based on data regarding college acceptance, preparedness, and persistence into the second year of college studies. Only 20 percent of eligible schools in 25 states were so recognized.
