Principal's Weekly Spotlight 04/15/2019

Good evening! This is Dr. Moore-Lawrence, proud principal of Bethesda Elementary School, with the Principal’s Weekly Spotlight. Please listen to the following reminders about important things happening at Bethesda the week of April 15th.

 

Get your dancing shoes ready! Our PTA Spring Dance will occur on April 26th.  K-2nd will dance from 2:15-4:15 and 3rd-5th will dance from 5:30-7:30. Admission is $5 and this includes one slice of pizza and one drink. Concession items and trinkets will be on sale as well. There are no refunds.

 

This week, 3rd-5th grade students will complete their CASE 21 testing for Math and 5th grade will also complete their CASE 21 testing for Science. Please ensure that your student gets plenty of rest and arrives to school before 7:45.

Tuesday, April 16th

  • Morning Media Check Out—Please encourage your child to visit the library to check out books.

Wednesday, April 17th 

  • Happy Red for Ed Day—Students and staff are encouraged to wear red to show their support for public education
  • Chorus Rehearsal (Afterschool with Mr. Bridgers)

 

Thursday, April 18th

Teacher Workday; No school for students

 

Friday, April 19th

Spring Holiday; No school for staff and students
