Principal's Weekly Spotlight - 8/26/2018

Good evening! This is Dr. Moore-Lawrence, proud principal of Bethesda Elementary School, with the Principal’s Weekly Spotlight. Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year.  Thank you in advance for making this a great year. Please listen for reminders about important things happening at Bethesda the week of August 27th.

Monday, August 27th

  • First Day of School First-Fifth Grade Students; Kindergarten students do not come Monday
  • If you have a kindergarten student coming to Bethesda, they have a staggered entry schedule.  Please contact Mrs. Davis if you have a question about the day your kindergartner will start.

Tuesday, August 28th

  • Kindergarten students do not come Tuesday
  • Kindergarten Open House from 6:00-7:30.  Meet your child’s teacher, get bus information, join the PTA for $6, buy your child’s field trip t-shirt for $10, and grab an icee from the Kona Ice truck.

Wednesday, August 29th

  • Happy Red for Ed Day—Students and staff are encouraged to wear red to show their support for public education.
  • Kindergarten Staggered Entry Day One

Thursday, August 30th 

  • Kindergarten Staggered Entry Day Two

Friday, August 31st

  • Students and staff are encouraged to show their Bulldog pride by wearing their Bethesda t-shirt or blue and white
  • All Kindergartners Attend School

Monday, September 3rd

  • Labor Day—NO SCHOOL
