Mr. Lee Ringer, meteorologist at Spectrum News1, visited with the 2^nd and 5^th grade students at Bethesda. He presented about weather instruments used in predicting weather with the 2^nd grade which correlates with their science standard of knowledge on measuring and describing the weather. With the 5^th grade students, he presented about high and low pressure systems with a demonstration using a balloon. He also spoke about the changes in weather from day to day. This correlates with the EOG science standards for 5^th grade. He answered questions from the students as well. He also gave a shoutout to the Bethesda 2^nd and 5^th grade students on his morning broadcast the next morning.
