Principal's Weekly Spotlight - 11/23/2020

Good evening! This is Dr. Moore-Lawrence, proud Principal of Bethesda Elementary with the Principal’s Weekly Spotlight for the week of November 22nd.

This week’s quote is “In all the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Thanksgiving, take a moment to focus on what being thankful is all about.” Sometimes we get so busy that we forget to count our blessings, tell those special to us that we love them, and positively reflect upon all for which we should be grateful. Please take time this week and beyond to do this.  The year 2020 is quickly slipping away and although it has been full of challenges, we have almost made it. I am thankful for the students, families, and staff at Bethesda.  You are truly one of my blessings.

Mrs. Shak recognized 2nd grade student Amia J. for being an active participant in both STEM Hour & Eureka Math Night!

Mrs. Battle-White was recognized by a student and his family! Malachi and his family would like to give a shout-out to Mrs. Battle-White for being a great kindergarten teacher. The family said that she is always engaging the kids and she always makes the lessons fun, has the kids interacting all the time on Nearpod which is a great way to keep the kids engaged and not bored. Malachi loves the brain breaks that she gives, too. Malachi states that he loves her and she is fun. Way to go, Mrs. Battle-White.
