4th Grade Field Trip to Morehead Planetarium


Wednesday, October 16th 

  • Happy Red for Ed Day—Students and staff are encouraged to wear red to show their support for public education
  • National Earthquake Drill at 10:16
  • 2nd Grade Field Trip to Marbles


Thursday, October 17th

  • 1st Grade Field Trip to Natural History and Science Museums
  • Flag Football Interest Meeting (Afterschool; Coordinated by Winston; Gym)
  • Daughters and Sisters of Triumph Meeting (Afterschool; Coordinated by Daughters and Sisters of Triumph; Media Center)


Friday, October 18th

  • Show Your Bulldog Pride by wearing blue and white or Bethesda t-shirt
  • 5th Grade Field Trip to Marbles
  • Read to Achieve Assessment Administered to Students in Fourth Grade who have not met the Read to Achieve Requirement


Saturday, October 19th 

  • Bethesda Garden Volunteer Day (10:30-12:30; Coordinated by Anna; Park in the bus parking lot)


Bethesda Elementary School PTA’s Food Drive is in full swing until November 8th. We are asking for donations of non-perishable food items, such as peanut butter, tuna fish, canned fruits/vegetables/soups, pasta, rice, beans, and cereal. We will have a competition by hallway and the winning hallway (with most items) will be awarded extra recess time.
