Principal Spotlight Week of September 9th

 

Good evening! This is Dr. Moore-Lawrence, proud principal of Bethesda Elementary School where ”Every Day!  Every One!  Every Way!  We will learn, serve, and achieve.” Please listen to the Principal’s Weekly Spotlight for the week of September 9th.

 

Monday, September 9th

Grandparents Day Breakfast for K-2 @ 8:30 and 3-5 @ 9:30. This breakfast is a time for Bethesda students and their grandparents to spend some quality time together and shop at our book fair.  Strawbridge will be taking pictures during this event.  Packages range from $15 to $25. 

 

Wednesday, September 10th

Happy Red for Ed Day—Students and staff are encouraged to wear red to show their support for public education.

 

Friday, September 13th

Bulldog Pride Day—Students and staff are encouraged to wear blue and white to show their support for Bethesda. Bethesda t-shirts will be on sale soon.

 

This week is Fall Book Fair Week.  We are celebrating Grandparents on Monday and International Literacy Day on Thursday. The Book Fair is open Monday-Thursday from 7:15 until 1:30 p.m.  and Friday from 7:15 until 12:00 p.m.

 

September is PTA Membership Month.  Don’t forget to join PTA for $6.  PTA helps bring supplies, programs, and support to Bethesda for staff, students, and families.  If you join PTA by Wednesday,  September 25th, your child will come to an ice cream party on Friday,  September 27th. You can use Venmo (@BethesdaElemPTA) and Cash App ($BethesdaElemPTA) to join.
