DPS Winter Graduation 2022

WEATHER UPDATE 1/24/2022: Graduation practice for Monday evening has been canceled. The Winter Graduation ceremony previously scheduled for Tuesday is rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 6:00 p.m. The new rehearsal date will be Tuesday, February 1 at 5:00 p.m.

Attention Seniors!

Cap and gowns will be delivered on January 10-14th for all mid-year graduates, and will be available for pickup in the main office before school at 8:30am, during SMART Lunch, or after school until 4:30pm.

Also, the Winter graduation ceremony will take place at Hillside High School on Tuesday, January 25th at 6pm, and practice will be held the day before (Monday, January 24th) at 5pm at the same location. Due to COVID restrictions, students will only be allowed two tickets for the commencement ceremony.

All mid-year graduates will be able to pick up their diplomas beginning Thursday, February 10th at 8:30am, during SMART Lunch, or after school until 4:30pm. If you have any outstanding fees that you owe at this time, please make arrangements for payments to be completed no later than Wednesday, January 19th and also make sure your Chromebook and charger is returned to the media center in order to be cleared as a participant for the ceremony.

For those who do not have their CPR certification, please make sure to touch base with Coach Whitfield to complete this as soon as possible, for this is a district graduation requirement.

Additionally, please provide your personal telephone number and email to your assigned counselor in Student Services so that they will be able to touch base with you regarding diploma pickup, and especially if you intend to participate in the June graduation ceremony.
