WEEKLY UPDATE/MENSAJE SEMANAL 9/6/2023
Good afternoon, Pirate families,
This is Dr. Woods-Weeks calling with the weekly update. Thanks to all for making our beginning of the school year as great as it has been! Our students are settling into the school year rather nicely.
Parents, if you have not read and completed the signature forms found in the back of the parent/student handbook, please do so and have your student return the signed forms to school Tuesday. This ensures that everyone is informed regarding our policies and procedures. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to give me a call.
To best prepare for our summer programs next year, additional program feedback is being requested. The survey is available in English and Spanish. Please complete the Family Survey by September 8, 2023.
As a reminder, Monday, September 4th is the Labor Day holiday. No school. School will resume Tuesday, September 5th at the regular time.
The PTA Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. Mark your Calendar!
Please be advised, students are not permitted to park on campus without a parking pass. Parking passes must be purchased online and picked up in the front office.
Riverside Athletics would like to thank the student body and all in attendance for making "Neon Night" a huge success. The next home football game will be October 6th Homecoming and the theme will be "Wear Purple" so get your purple RHS shirts now!! This week in athletics the RHS Soccer and Tennis teams will host home matches on September 5th . RHS Women's Tennis will have a home match on September 6th. Volleyball and JV Football will host home matches on September 7th. Please visit the athletics website for all tickets and spirit wear. https://riversideathleticzone.com/
Mark your calendar for Upcoming Important Dates:
o Grade level assemblies will begin Thursday, September 7th with freshman and sophomores.
o Curriculum Night will be held September 12, 2023, for all families from 6:00-7:30p.m.
